An author returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot, hoping that familiar surroundings will provide the inspiration he needs for his next book. However, the town he once knew is no longer the same. Upon his arrival, he is greeted by a tense and fearful community. The residents, once friendly and welcoming, now seem distant, locking themselves in their homes as soon as the sun sets.
